The work in this area covers a wide spectrum of ministries. Our vision is 'A Worshipful Church, Prayer Christians'.

Our objectives include:

  1. Helping members and friends appreciate the full meaning of praise and worship.
  2. Helping members and friends experience God through praise and worship during the weekly worship service.
  3. Ensuring that people, especially friends and visitors experience the warmth of Christian fellowship during the weekly worship services and other church functions.
  4. Equipping worship leaders, musicians and members to serve as enablers during the worship service.

The Sunday Worship Service is from 7.00 - 8.30 p.m. We thank God that there has been no drop in the weekly attendance even though the new premise is further away from the town. Although we do not have the constrain of having to finish the service on time, as in the old premise, we still aim to stick to the time as there are number of elderly people in the congregation who have difficulty sitting through a longer service.

The Worship Intercession starts at 6.45 p.m. It is opened to the congregation. Congregational Prayer has been introduced to replace Pastoral Prayer. All worshippers will pray together for the concerns of the Church. At the end of the service, the Pastoral Care Team will be availabe to pray for those with needs.

More people have been recruited to serve as ushers and Scripture readers.

The use of multimedia such as Power Point slide shows and movie clips will be further developed to enhance reports on church activities and to promote upcoming events more effectively.

Youth-led Sunday Worship Service will be continued when the young people are ready.

New musicians are being trained to fill the void left by those who have left to further their studies. At least 2 music teams will be set up this year.

The Church Choir gave the Easter presentation at WMCAS on 12th April at at Sg Petani Wesley on 11th April.

We will explore the possibility of inviting the TRAC Board of Worship and Music Team to conduct training on worship leading, vocals, Scripture reading and playing in the band.

A workshop operating the sound system is yet to be conducted. As with the use of the freeware Zionworx for the projection of songs during worship.

The Chinese Worship Service is on Saturday 8.00 - 9.30 p.m. The work of the Chinese ministry will be reported separately.

We continue to look to God for the possibility of starting a Charismatic service.
